Raintree Nature Notes, an owner-operated business growing in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas, promotes the old-fashioned art of hand-written notes, helping people stay in touch with each other during their busy lives.

These nature-oriented notecards are produced from original art that may be watercolor, ink or a combination of these media. Each of the notecards is a loving portrayal of the artist’s experience in nature. It is Criss’ wish to share her appreciation and reverence for the beauty that surrounds us in the natural world. She started drawing as soon as she was introduced to a pencil and learned to love nature as a small girl during walks with her grandmother, who also helped her start her very first garden.
